Abstract
The incidence of allergic rhinitis is significantly affected by seasonal climate and is susceptible to autumn, which the specific pathological mechanism not clear yet. Based on the theory of "the lung corresponding to the autumn" in traditional Chinese medicine, combined with the influence of meteorological environment changes on human lung system and the homology of lung and nasal pathology, this paper proposed that the rhythm regulation of immune-pineal axis on allergic immune response may be an important pathophysiological basis of susceptibility to allergic rhinitis in autumn.
