| Abstract
|
| [Objective] Based on the Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Synopsis of the Golden Chamber，to explore the regularity of the compatibility of “Ephedra-Gypsum” in medication. [Method] Statistical analysis was conducted on the flavor of the “Ephedra-Gypsum” classic formula through the Traditional Chinese Mediciｎｅ（TCM） Ｉｎｈｅｒitance Assistance Platform. [Result] In the compatibility formula of “Ephedra-Gypsum”，Licorice，Ephedra，and Gypsum are the core medicinal flavor combinations；The medicinal taste is mainly warm，followed by cold；The five flavors are mainly spicy and sweet；The main meridian is the lung meridian；The symptoms involve two major symptom groups，one being fever，bad wind，sweating，pulse floating，and asthma as the core symptom group；The second symptom group is characterized by swelling，yellowing，heavy pulse，and poor urination；The dosage ratio of Ephedra combined with Gypsum varies with the pathogenesis. [Conclusion] The pathogenic factors of the “Ephedra-Gypsum” meridian are divided into intangible and tangible，and the two are often mixed；The pathological mechanism of the “Ephedra-Gypsum” meridian formula revolves around the changes in the function of promoting and eliminating the lung；The combination of “Ephedra-Gypsum” uses ephedra as the core. |
