Abstract
[Objective] To observe the clinical efficacy of Compound Danshen Dropping Pills combined with conventional western medicine treatment of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris, and analyse its clinical efficacy advantages. [Methods] A retrospective cohort study, coronary heart disease and angina pectoris patients from the medical record management system of 6 hospitals in Tianjin were collected from January 2014 to June 2022. The patients were divided into exposed and non-exposed groups, the exposed group was treated with Compound Danshen Dropping Pills combined with conventional western medicine treatment, and the non-exposed group was treated with conventional western medicine treatment. The two groups were matched in a 1∶1 ratio, with 612 cases each. Observe cardiovascular events, clinical biochemical indicators and carotid artery ultrasound indices in both groups during hospitalization. [Results] Aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase,C reactive protein, thrombin time,D-dimer,blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, creatinine, uric acid, alanine aminotransferase, total bilirubin, leukocyte count, carotid intima-media thickness, and carotid plaque in the exposed group were significantly lower than those of the non-exposed group, and the differences was statistically significant (P<0.05). [Conclusion] It showed that the patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris treated with Compound Danshen Dropping Pills and conventional western medicine treatment have lower incidence of cardiovascular events, coagulation function, renal function, liver function, blood glucose and blood lipid levels were relatively stable, carotid middle thickness was smaller, and lower incidence of plaques.
