Abstract
|
Shengmaiyin is a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine classic formula composed of Red ginseng, Ophiopogon and Schisandra chinensis,with effects of benefiting qi and restoring pulse,astringing yin and promoting fluid. Modern studies indicate that the chemical constituents of Shengmaiyin mainly include saponins,lignans, homoisoflavones,polysaccharides,organic acids and so on. Related pharmacological experimental studies have shown that Shengmaiyin has anti-arrhythmia,heart failure,anti-tumor and other pharmacological effects. It is often used in combination with various conventional therapeutic drugs to exert clinical efficacy,improve the patient’s clinical symptoms. In this review,the research on the chemical constituents,pharmacological effects and clinical applications of Shengmaiyin have been systematically summarized,in order to provide support and reference for the further research and development of this prescription. |
