Abstract
|
Collaboration between science and education is an important way to improve the cultivation of innovative talents and the level of scientific and technological innovation under the new situation. Currently, college students often face problems such as passive learning, unequal relationships with teachers, and disconnection from scientific research practice in the process of science and education collaborative training, resulting in low initiative and enthusiasm for student participation,as well as weak sense of achievement. Based on the practice of evidence-based classrooms and research volunteer activities in the early stage, the Evidence Based Medicine Center of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine focuses on exploring the establishment of equal and cooperative teacher-student relationships in multiple aspects such as “teacher and student” “teaching and learning”,and “learning and research”,in order to stimulate students’ initiative in scientific research participation and enhance their sense of practical gain. Therefore,a new model of collaboration between traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) science and education based on collaborative researcher projects has been proposed. The collaborative researcher project is based on research platforms and teaching practices, selecting practical projects that are in line with students’ professional backgrounds and academic foundations, and assigning students the identity of collaborative researchers. This enables students to have equal and collaborative roles with teachers in the research process, participate deeply in research practice, and cultivate their innovative thinking and hands-on abilities, thereby improving their overall quality. Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has chosen the topic of autonomous collection and analysis of tongue images data in TCM,initiated a collaborative research project practice, transformed the role positioning of students in scientific research projects, fully stimulated their participation and initiative, and exercised their practical abilities. Practice has proven that the new model of collaboration between TCM science and education based on collaborative researcher projects has important value in cultivating innovative talents with scientific research qualities. |
