Abstract
|
[Objective] Based on the Web of Science database,a visual analysis was conducted on the literature regarding acupuncture treatment for breast cancer over the past two decades. This analysis aims to understand the current research status and development trends in this field, providing directions for future development. [Methods] Retrieve the Web of Science Core Collection from 2003-01-01 to 2023-10-01,collecting research related to acupuncture treatment for breast cancer. Utilize CiteSpace to conduct literature metrology analysis and visualization from the perspectives of journals, countries, institutions, authors, keywords, and references. [Results] In the past twenty years,a total of 273 studies have been included, and the number of literatures has steadily increased with some fluctuations. The journal of Clinical Oncology is the journal with the most related publications, and Cancer is the journal with the most citation times. The largest number of publications comes from China, while the United States holds the greatest centrality. The most productive institution is the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The author with the highest number of posts is MAO Junjie, and the keywords with the highest frequency and centrality are breast cancer and alternative therapy, the most frequently cited reference article was published by Dawn L. Hershman. [Conclusion] The field has formed a stable development trend. Acupuncture treatment of breast cancer is mainly based on clinical randomized controlled trials. Treatment for common symptoms such as pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and hot flashes caused by chemotherapy or medication is common. In the future, various treatment methods can be used to strengthen research on the mechanisms of breast cancer in patients, exploring the use of acupuncture in the treatment of postoperative chronic pain and the tumor itself. |
