Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the intervention effect of the combination of stasis relieving acupuncture and rotating lifting technique on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR).[Methods] From January 2022 to November 2023,130 CSR patients admitted to our hospital were randomly separated into a reference group of 65 cases and a combined group of 65 cases. The reference group was treated with conventional Western medicine, while the combined group was treated with stasis relieving acupuncture and rotating lifting technique. The total effective rate, degree of pain, neck function, electromyographic results, various inflammatory factor indicators, quality of life, and side reactions were compared between the two groups.[Results] The total effective rate of the combined group(93.85%) was greatly higher than that of the reference group(76.92%)(P<0.05),while the visual analogue scale(VAS) and neck disability index(NDI) scores were greatly lower than those of the reference group(P<0.05). The sensory nerve conduction velocity(SCV) and motor nerve conduction velocity(MCV) of the combined group were greatly higher than those of the reference group(P<0.05). The levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor(TNF),and interleukin-1(IL-1) in the combined group were greatly lower than those in the reference group(P<0.05). The SF-36 score of the combined group's health status survey was greatly higher than that of the reference group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of side reactions such as diarrhea and nausea and vomiting between the two groups(P>0.05).[Conclusion] The combination of the two interventions for CSR patients can effectively improve neck function, reduce inflammation, and achieve ideal results, with high clinical application value. |
