Abstract
[Objective] To explore and compare the clinical efficacy of Tuina cupping therapy and ordinary cupping therapy in the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome. [Methods] This study enrolled a total of 60 patients with chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS),who were randomly allocated to the treatment group(n=30) and the control group(n=30) using a random number table method with a 1∶1 allocation ratio. The experimental group was treated with tuina jar for the treatment of the Dao pulse, the waist and back foot sun bladder through the 1st lateral line of the acupoint shoulder-waist)(“shape scheme, shoulder ridge” one “word scheme, lumbosacral” eight “shape scheme, and the sole” crescent shape, while the control group was treated with the ordinary pot method, and the pot site was the same as the tuina jar group. [Results] There were 30 patients in each group. Compared with before treatment, the scores of FSAS and FAS decreased significantly(P<0.01),while the scores of SF-36(VT,MH) increased significantly(P<0.05). After treatment,FSAS score [(61.87±5.67)],FAS score [(106.87±7.70)],SF-36(MH) score [(30.1,36.1)] were compared with that of the ordinary tank retention group. The FSAS score [(47.87±9.12)] and FAS score [(83.97±7.75)] in the tuina tank group were lower(P<0.01),and the SF-36(MH) score [(36.8,44.5)] was higher(P<0.01). The total effective rate of tuina tank group(86.67%,26/30) was higher than that of ordinary tank group(50%,15/30)(P<0.01). [Conclusion] Both tuina therapy and ordinary cupping therapy can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with chronic fatigue syndrome, and tuina therapy is more effective than ordinary cupping therapy.
