| Abstract
|
| [Objective] The system retrieves randomized controlled clinical trials(RCT) of traditional Chinese medicine non-pharmacological therapies published in Chinese and English medical journals in 2024,summarizes the clinical research evidence in stages and evaluates its quality, aiming to provide reference for subsequent research design and evidence-based decision-making. [Methods] Based on the acupuncture and moxibustion clinical evidence database(ACU-CED) system, comprehensive access to 2024 Chinese medicine non-drug therapy RCT literature, statistical analysis based on the structural extraction and quality evaluation modules of the ACU-CED system, and display using ECharts visualization system. [Result] A total of 2 243 randomized controlled trials(RCTs) were included, including 2 196 in Chinese and 47 in English, with a cumulative sample size of over 200 000 people. The study covers 34 provinces, cities, and multiple countries across the country, with diseases mainly affecting the musculoskeletal, neurological, and digestive systems. Stroke, cervical spondylosis, and insomnia are the main research hotspots. The intervention measures were mainly acupuncture and moxibustion, moxibustion, massage, auricular point sticking and transcutaneous electrical stimulation, and the trend of loading or combined treatment was significant. The overall research quality has improved compared to previous years, but the standardization of reports and registration of trials still need to be strengthened. [Conclusion] The number of RCT for traditional Chinese medicine non-pharmacological therapies in 2024 has increased compared to previous years, and the research fields are more diverse. Although the quality of methodology and reporting standards have improved compared to before, there are still issues such as randomization, blinding, and weak registration processes. In the future,it is necessary to strengthen researcher training and multi center cooperation, promote standardized research design, transparent result reporting, and evidence transformation and application, and provide more solid evidence-based support for the clinical promotion and internationalization of non-pharmacological therapies in traditional Chinese medicine. |
