| Abstract

| Mailuoshutong(MLST) preparation is composed of twelve traditional Chinese medicinal materials,and it possesses the efficacy of clearing heat and toxins,resolving blood stasis and dredging collaterals,as well as removing dampness and relieving swelling. Research has identified 249 chemical constituents in MLST preparation,including 79 flavonoids,62 terpenoids,38 phenolic acids,22 alkaloids,12 coumarins,11 carboxylic acids,9 esters,5 amino acids,3 phthalides,2 ketones,2 quinones,2 stilbenes,1 aldehyde,and 1 saccharide. It demonstrates a range of pharmacological activities,such as those against superficial thrombophlebitis,deep venous thrombosis,thromboangiitis obliterans,atherosclerosis,and cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. This review systematically summarizes the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of MLST preparation,aiming to provide references for its quality control and further development and utilization. |
