Abstract
[Objective] To establish an ultra-high performance liquid chromatography(UPLC) fingerprint and a multi-component content determination method for Erycibe schmidtii Craib, and to evaluate the quality of 30 batches of this medicinal material. [Methods] Using photodiode array UPLC(UPLC-PDA),separation was performed on an Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column(2.1 mm×100 mm,1.8 μm) with gradient elution using 0.1% formic acid in water(A) and acetonitrile(B) as the mobile phase. The UPLC fingerprint of E. schmidtii was established, common peaks were identified, and their contents were determined. [Results] The UPLC fingerprints of 30 batches of E. schmidtii were established, and 12 common peaks were obtained. Nine chemical components were identified, showing good linear relationships with peak areas within certain concentration ranges(r≥0.999). The instrument precision, method repeatability, and stability of the test solution were satisfactory, with RSD values all below 5.00%. The average sample recovery rates ranged from 95.3% to 103.0%. [Conclusion] The established UPLC fingerprint and multi-component content determination method for Erycibe schmidtii Craib is stable and reliable, and can be used for subsequent quality control and research of this medicinal material.
