| Abstract
|
| Objective: To reproduce the rat model of Dampness-heat syndrome. Methods: It was made by compound methods with several factors, including endogenous dampness produced by diet disorder and exopathogenic dampness-heat by high air temperature and humidity. Thus, the model was made by using both exopathic and endopathic evil factoros. Results: There were some changes coincided with the characteristics of dampness-heat syndrome in the model rat, such as body temperature, diet and water intake, urine output, body weight, urination and defecation, tongue picture, mental state etc.Pathological changes also occurred in tongue, intestine, liver and spleen. San Ren Tang was effective for treating this disease. Conclusion: The model of dampness-heat syndrome in rat could be reproduced successfully by the method mentioned above. |
