Abstract
Objective: To verify the correlation between the hyperactivity of liver yang in hypertensive disease and the pathogenesis of blood stasis. Methods: Through clinical investigation of patients the occurrence rate of symptoms and microcirculatory changes in Zhengan Huoxue group and Zhengan group were recorded before and after treatment. Results: It was demonstrated that the hyperactivity of liver yang in hypertensive disease often accompanied with the pathogenesis of blood stasis. Zhengan Xifeng Decoction combined with Chinese herbs that can promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis was superior to Zhengan Xifeng Decoction in terms of improving hyperactivity of liver yang and the blood stasis relevant symptoms or indices. Conclusion: While differentiating the hyperactivity of liver yang in hypertensive disease more attention should be paid to the pathogenesis of blood stasis. Treatment matching with circulation-promoting herbs can enhance the therapeutic effect.
