Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of self-prescribed Zhenxuan Decoction for treating vertebro-basilar insufficiency for blood supply. Methods: Zhenxuan Decoction was given to patients of treatment group, while Flunarizin and Aspirin to patients of control. A course of treatment was 10 days. Curative effect was evaluated two courses of treatment later. Results: The total effective rate in treatment group was 91.12%, while in control group was 58.33%. It was also noted that the decoction could lower blood viscosity, promote fibrinolytic activity and improve lipid metabolism. Conclusion: Zhenxuan Decoction has therapeutic effect on hyperviscosity syndrome and hyperlipemia. |
