Abstract
|
Objective: To investigate the antihypertensive mechanism of Pingjiang Granule combined with Nitrendipine, protective effect for target organ, preventive and curative effect against hypertension complication. Methods: After four weeks of medicine, the concentration of calcitonin gene relative peptide(CGRP) in tissue, plasma and plasma endothelin (ET) level were examinated with radio-immunity assay in SHR,and compared with those in control group. Results: Plasma CGRP was higher in three treatment groups than in control group, while in hypothalamus and abdominal aortic artery was lower with statistic significance. Significant difference also existed between combined medicine group and western medicine group, Chinese medicine group separately.Plasma ET in three treatment groups was all lower than in control group and had statistic significance with the lowest value in combined group. Conclusion: Regulating and controlling the concentration of CGRP and ET in circulatory system are one of the mechanisms of antihypertensive effect of combined medicine, as well as the main mechanism of protecting target organs, and preventing and curing hypertension complication. The effect of combined medicine is markedly superior to that of single medicine. |
