Abstract
|
Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Yiru Decoction against increase of serum prolactin of female with primary hypothyrosis. Methods: Yiru Decoction and thyroxin tablet were administered in patients of treatment group, while only the latter given in control group. T4, FT4, TSH and PRL were tested by radioimmunoassay (RIA) before and after treatment. Results: There was no marked difference of total effect rate in recent period of treatment between these two groups (P>0.05).But the descending rate of PRL, the recurrence rate and adverse reaction in advanced period in treatment groups was obviously different to those in control group (P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion: Yiru Decoction combined with thyroxin tablet is an effective method for treating primary hypothyrosis accompanied with hyperprolactin. Intrinsic correlations are thought to be existed between the enhancing of PRL level with dysfunction of hypothalamus-pituitary-thyroid axis. The relationship between them requires further investigation. |
