Abstract
Objective: To observe the regulating effect on dysimmunity of CTD.Methods: 28 cases were divided into two groups: the treatment group with Chinese herbs and the control group with Prednisone. Blood samples of all the patients were collected before and after treatment in order to examine the immunologic function. Results: In the treatment group, immunoglobulin (Ig) and subpopulation of thymocyte were reduced, while complement 3 (C3) was elevated. There was an obvious difference before and after treatment in this group (P<0.01).There was no change in immunologic function and no obvious difference (P>0.05) compared with those in control group. Conclusion: Chinese herbs have regulating effect on dysimmunity of CTD.
