Abstract
Objective: To discuss the pharmacological and clinical effect of active component T1 in Pugongying. Methods: The virus was detected by PCR. The erythrocyte flow in capillary on mice peritoneum was evaluated in group given T1, water and Vitamin E respectively. The bile acid in stool was detected in rats given T1 and water. Rats’ hypophysis culture line was used to show if T1 could promote pituitary secretion. Results: The active component T1 of Pugongying had the effect of Anti-hepatitis Virus C; promoting capillary circulation, accelerating bile secretion and pituitary secretion; inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and diuresis. Conclusion: Pugongying can be used to prevent and treat diseases because T1, the active compinent, has a variefy of pharmacological activities.
