| Abstract

| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Chinese patent medicine Huichundan Granule on treating senile VD. Methods: All cases were divided into treatment group(n=18, given Huichundan Granule) and control group (n=30, given western medicine Hydergcine).Using MMSG core creterion, the abilities of temporal orientation, space orientation, speech and so on in both groups were observed.Results: The total effective rates were 89.83%, 60.00% in both groups respectively. Six months after that, the sustaining improving rate were 99.06%, 83.33%, the deteriorative rates 0.94%, 16.67% in treatment group and control group respectively.Conclusion: Huichundan Granule has a certain persistent effect on treating senile VD. |
