Abstract
|
Objective: To observe the influence of Shi’s rotating reinforcing and reducing method on correlating enzyme activity of energy metabolism in healthy mice. Methods: All Kunming mice were divided into 5 groups. The local tissue of acu-point was skeletal muscle around Zusanli and the distant tissue was stomach. Enzymatic histochemical stain was used to show SDH (succinic dehydrogenase with pearson method), CCO (cytochromeoxidase with seligman method), M-ATP (adenosine triphosphatase with Niles method) and Mg2+-ATP with Wachstein-Meisel method. Results: Compared with control group, Shi’s rotating reinforcing method could elevate the integral luminosity, total area, area percentage of SDH, CCO, ATP markedly (P<0.05), showing that the enzymatic activity was strengthened. While the reducing method could lower them (P<0.05), showing that the enzymatic activity associated with energy metabolism was weakened. Conclusion: The changes of energy metabolism after using Shi’s reinforcing and reducing method may be one of the mechanisms oftemperature effect. |
