Abstract
|
Objective: To study the pathological mechanism of sore and ulcer disease and its therapeutic principles of TCM and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. To choose the Chinese herbs which had the function of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis for improving the research and development of new drugs. Method: More than 30 special books for treating sore and ulcer diseases from Jin dynasty to Qing dynasty were reviewed to get to understand the pathogenesis and mechanism of this disease and the classification of the effect of the herbs, often used in the internal prescriptions for oral administration. The physio-pathological changes of blood stasis were summarized and the modern pharmacological action of all kinds of herbs for this disease was analyzed after reading modern articles. Results: In pathological basis of this disease, the swelling sore type attributed to stagnation of qi and blood accompanied with dampness, heat and toxin, and the ulcer type to blood stasis with deficiency of qi and blood. The therapeutic principle were promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, removing heat and toxin and tonifying qi and blood. Gancao, Danggui, Jinyinhua, Shaoyao, Renshen, Huangqi and Guizhi were mainly chosen. Conclusion: The main treatment of sore and ulcer diseases is promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis and accompanied with herbs which can removing heat and toxin or tonifying qi and blood according to the differentiation of syndromes. |
