| Abstract

| Objective: To discuss the influence of Xingbei Chongji on PLA2, the key substance in asthma. Method: The asthma model was induced by ovalbumin provocation.The changes of PLA2 and the inflammatory cells,TXB2, 6-k-PGFα in BALF(bronchi-pulmonary alveoli lavage fluid) were observed. The symptoms of asthma were analyzed simultaneously. Result: PLA2 and TXB2 in treatment group were lowered.Eosinophil in BALF was reduced obviously.The provocative duration and symptoms were improved. Conclusion: Xingbei Chongji plays a role of controlling inflammation and asthma by lowering PLA2. |
