Abstract
|
Objective: To study the mechanism of acupuncture on limb temperature of patients with multiple takayasu arteritis aorto-arteritis by infra-red thermography. Method: 87 cases with this disease were treated by using acupuncture, western medicine or TCM. The temperature changes of patients were observed before and after treatment. Result: In the treatment group the increasing of patients’ limb temperature was better than that of western medicine group and TCM-WM group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The change of temperature improved without obvious difference when compared with other two groups but clinical effect. Conclusion: Acupuncture has better effect on multiple takayasu arteritis. |
