Abstract
|
According to the relationship of qi and blood and the theory (blood stasis due to qi deficiency) of wind-stroke in TCM, after primary clinical observation it was considered that inborn qi deficiency and blood stasis-obstruction in cerebral collateral were the main mechanism of acute cerebral infarction. Blood stasis could make qi deficiency worse and cause qi stagnation. So the therapeutic principle would be promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis from the cerebral collateral. But it was more important to regulating qi and blood simultaneously. Tonifying qi and promoting qi circulation were good method for blood circulation and removing blood stasis. After blood stasis removed, the new blood could be produced. So tonifying qi and promoting blood circulation and qi circulation was one of the most important therapeutic principles of acute cerebral infarction. |
