Abstract
    Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of integrated distal and proximal needling method on cervical spondylopathy. Method: 32 cases with cervical spondylopathy were treated by this method. Jiaji point at the neck, Laozhen, Xuanzhong, Fuyang and Jinmen were mainly used and this prescription was modified according to the mechanism and the pathologic types. Result: 1) Most patients were considered to be wind-cold-dampness type, cervical type and cervical nerve root type with better treatment effect than others. 2) The effect of the patients with short duration was superior to that with long duration. Conclusion: The integrated distal and proximal needling method has a definite effect on cervical spondylopathy.
