| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the influence of Renzhu Jianwei Granule on Helicobacter Pyloric (Hp) and its gene cagA in cases with chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) and study the therapeutic mechanism intensively.[Methods] One hundred and twenty-eight CAG cases with Hp infection and belonging to qi deficiency and heat stagnation type were divided into treatment group (85 cases, given Renzhu Jianwei Granule with 1 bag, three times a day) and control group (43 cases, given Weifuchun Tablet with 4 tablets, three times a day). The changes of clinical symptoms, gastroscope, pathology, Hp and Hp-cagA were observed. The effective rate in clinical symptoms, gastroscopy, pathology in treatment group were 91.8%, 71.8%, 65.9%, while in control group 86.6%, 55.8%, 41.7% respectively.[Results] The effective rate of gastroscopy and pathology in treatment group was higher than that in control group and has a statistic significance (P<0.05).The eradicative rate of Hp and effective rate were 36.5% and 77.6% in treatment group, 30.2% and 69.8% in control group respectively with no significance (P>0.05). But the Hp-cagA gene negative rate (64.2%) in treatment group was higher than that (41.4%) in control group with statistic significance(P<0.05).[Conclusion] Renzhu Jianwei Granule has a therapeutic effect on CAG. The mechanism is associated with eradication of Hp and decreasing of the virulence of Hp. |
