| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Huazhi Suppository in treating hemorrhoids. [Method] Huazhi Suppository was used for patients with internal hemorrhoids,external hemorrhoids and combined hemorrhoids,which belong to the type of intestine collateral attacked by wind or downward flow of damp-heat.The effects of hema-tochezia,herniation,local discomfort and secretion around the anus were compared with those in control cured with Jiuhua Hemorrhoid Suppository. [Result] The effect of Huazhi Suppository was similar to that of Jiuhua Zhichuang Suppository but superior to it in treating hematochezia(P<0.05). [Conclusion] Hemorrhoids Suppository is safe and effective to treat pa-tients in type of intestine collateral attacked by wind or downward flow of damp-heat. |
