Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the influence on monoamine neurotransmitter in climacteric rats treated by Chinese decoc-tion Gengnianle with the effect of tonifying the kidney, smooth the liver and regulating and tonifying the Chong and Ren Channels. [Method] Twenty-five rats(age:11~15months)were randomly divided into model group and treatment group. Eight rats(age:3months)consisted of the young rat control group. The decoction was given to the treatment group while normal saline to the other two groups.Monoamine neurotransmitter at hypothalamus including NE,DA,5-HT,5-HIAA were detected by HPLT-electrochemical method. [Result] Gengnianle could decrease 5-HT and 5-HIAA(P<0.01,P<0.05),increase NE(P<0.05)and make the ratio of 5-HT/NE near to that of young rat control group(P<0.01). [Conclusion] Chinese decoction Gengnianle can improve the function of hypothalamus through regulating the level of monoamine neurotransmitter. |
