Abstract
|
TCM had a long history of recognizing the infectious diseases. It had established a systematic and profound theory including the recognition, research and development of the pathological factors, mechanism, differentiation and treatment. SARS was prevailing in winter and spring. The strong wind in winter and the remaining cold in spring could decrease the body resistance ability gradually. SARS often showed premonitory symptoms and its infection was through oronasal route. The attack and development of SARS was deal with not only the incubative pathogen inside but also invasion of the epidemic toxins. Not only the defense but also the lung Zang-organs could be hurt. It would change into refractory pulmonary diseases. It is better to be treated as early as possible mainly by activating the lung qi, smoothing the lung collaterals, clearing away the heat and removing the toxin from the lung. |
