Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of SARS treated by integrated Chinese and western therapeutic medicine. [Methods] The following methods were used. The injection of medicine with the function of clearing away heat and removing toxin was given intravenously.The herbs with light nature for clearing and expelling heat were used to treat SARS belonging to lung-heat syndrome due to wind-warm invasion according to the syndrome differentiation. The using of hormone was controlled strictly. An antibiotic was given reasonably. The expectant treatment was also used. [Result] All the cases were relieved effectively. The average time for abatement of fever was 2.96 d, for phlegmonosis disappeared on the X-ray 6.20 d, for hospitalization 8.86 d.[Conclusion] The integrated Chinese and western therapeutic project has advantages to the treatment of SARS with the possible mechanism of regulating the autoimmunity, enhancing the body resistance and inhibiting the virus infection. |
