Abstract
    During the 2000 years of its formation and development, TCM has accumulated plenty knowledge on preventive medicine, including not only the definite leading thought of "preventing firstly", but also a whole series of concrete methods and measure,which showed from the aspects of sanitation, lemology, isolation and prophylactic inoculation. The paper expound from 4 aspects:"A good physician stress on preventive treatment" and "Emphasize on Zheng Qi" showing the leading thought of preventing mainly; attaching more attention to influence of natural environment to human-body; gradually establishment of lemology in TCM from the step of Treatise on Febrile Disease, Treatise on Pestilence to Teaching Material of Epidemic Febrile Disease; vaccination in TCM being the earliest prophylactic immunization in the world.
