| [Objective] To explore the probability of the mediated and biological treatment of leukemia by Chinese medicine Fuzheng Mixture. [Methods] Thirty cases with acute leukemia were treated with combined chemotherapy and Fuzheng Mixture. The changes of clinical symptoms, hematopoiesis and restitution of immunologic function were observed. The model of leukemia in L615 mice were reproduced. The mechanism of the mediated and biological treatment of leukemia by Fuzheng Mixture were studied from the aspect of cellular immunity. [Result] Chinese medicine Fuzheng Mixture could improve the immunologic function of the patients with acute leukemia after chemotherapy by promoting the secretion of cytokine such as IL-2, IL-6, IFN-γ, and so on. It could also improve the activity of hematopoietic regulatory factors (GM-CSF) and IL-6, accelerate bone marrow regeneration, improve the peripheral hemogram and eliminate anemia, hemorrhage and infection. In the experimental research, the survival time of L615 leukemia mice were prolonged and the secretion of IL-2, IL-6 and IFN-γ was enhanced by regulating the disturbed T cell subpopulation. [Conclusion] Chinese medicine Fuzheng Mixture can effectively mediated the biological treatment of leukemia. |
