| Abstract

| [Objective] To study the probability of extracting available composition from Danshen, Huaihua and Gancao with microwave. [Methods] All the herbs were extracted with microwave and reflux Method for different time. Abe refractometer was used for the determination of the refraction coefficient (n) of the extract liquid to obtain the extraction volume. [Result] The same amount of available composition in extract liquid was obtained with microwave extract for 40s and reflux extract for 2 h for these three herbs. Ointment recovery rate of the extraction of Gancao with short microwave had the same result with reflex for 1.5 h. [Conclusion] The microwave extraction technique can be used for Chinese material medica as its high effect and short extraction time. |
