| Abstract

| [Objective] To select an appropriate solvent for extracting total alkaloid from Gouteng (uncaria rhychophylla). [Methods] Different solvents were adopted for extraction of total alkaloid from Gouteng under same conditions. [Result] The amounts of extracted total alkaloid were different when using different solvents. [Conclusion] Ether is the optimal solvent for extraction of total alkaloid from Gouteng. |
