The Flexible-rigid Theory for differentiating psychosomatics diseases was proposed. The main mechanisms of psychosomatic diseases is disorder of the rigid and flexible due to the disfunction of liver in its influence on other organs, which manifested as impairment of qi, xue, yin and yang. The principle of treatment was using flexibility to subjugate rigidity and rigidity to subjugate flexibility in order to make them in harmony.
