Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the mechanisms of electric acupuncture in treating rats with reflux esophagitis. [Methods] The acid reflux esophagitis models of rats were made by incomplete ligation of pylorus and the incision of cardiac sphincter. [Result] After the treatment with electric acupuncture the plasma Motilin, serum Gastrin, pH in lower esophagus and esophagus mucosa permeability were increased. There was no obvious difference between the treatment group and the normal group (P>0.05). [Conclusion] The electric acupuncture on Nei Guan and Zu San Li has regulating function for plasma Motilin and serum Gastrin. It can increase pH in lower esophagus, improve permeability of esophagus mucosa, and provided a basic treating method for treating reflux esophagitis in clinic.
