| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the effect of Huoxue Huayu I(HHI-I)on the cerebral blood flow in rats.[Methods] Forty healthy Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups randomly. Measure microcirculation both in brain pial and parenchyma with Laser Doppler Flowmetry(LDF).[Results] Intravenous infusion of saline had no effect on blood flow in both sites. Infusion of HHI-I,however, could markedly increase microcirculation in these two sites with the most obvious effect of high dosage of HHI-I.[Conclusion] HHI-I can significantly improve brain microcirculation of rats. |
