Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the clinical effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine on adult primary nephropathy syndrome.[Methods] All patients were randomly divided into integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine (ITCWM) group (n=50) and Western medicine (WM) group (n=46). Routine treatment was given in WM group.While routine and TCM treatment were in ITCWM group.In this group the patient was treated by Xuefu Zhuyu method (the variation of Xufu Zhuyu Decoction or Capsule).[Results] The overall effective rate in ITCWM group was 86.9% and in WM group was 53.3% with obvious difference between these two groups (P<0.01). Glucocorticoid or/and cell toxicity as drug side effects were presented in both both groups with different degrees.It was less servere ITCWM group than that in WM group.There was marked difference between the two groups (P<0.01).[Conclusion] Treating adult primary nephropathy syndrome by integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine can improve the clinical effect and decrease the side effect.
