[Methods] Sixty patients in observation group were treated with mutual-activating acupuncture, while another 60 patients in control group were treated with traditional acupuncture. The total effective rates were compared. The total effective rates of observation group and control group were 96.7%and 85.0%respectively with significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). [Result] The total effective rate of observation group was markedly better than that of control group. [Conclusion] Therapeutic effect for nocturia with mutual-activating acupuncture is better than traditional acupuncture. It is worth spreading to wide application in clinic.
