Abstract
[Objective] To assay polysaccharides content of epimedium in different breed and source. [Methods] Phend-sulfuric acid method was chosen. [Result] There was marked difference in the contents of polysaccharides of epimedium in different breed,of which the content of polysaccharides of epimedium in Korea was slightly higher. [Conclusion] There was no great difference on the contents of polysaccharides of epimedium in the same breed and different source.
