| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To explore the protective effect of Blood-Replenishing Capsule(BRC)on the hypoxic animals and its probable mechanism. [Methods] The effects of Blood-Replenishing Capsule on survival time of mice subjected to normobaric and chemical hypoxia were observed and the oxygen consumption was measured. [Results] Blood-Replenishing Capsule ob-viously prolonged the survival time of hypoxic mice,reduced the oxygen consumption and increased the contents of hemoglobin(Hb)in the bloods.The brain’s SOD was obvious higher and MDA concentration was remarkably lower in BRC groups than those in control groups. [Conclusion] Blood-Replenishing Capsule shows remarkable effect on tolerance to hy-poxia in mice. |
