Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore whether the mechanism of the cellular protection of salvisnolic acid B (Sal B) preconditioning is relevant with the synthesis of the heat shock protein 70 (HSP70). [Methods] Technique of RT-PCR was adopted, and the impact of Sal B preconditioning on the expression of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) mRNA in cardiac microvascular endothelial cells (CMEC) injured by hypoxia and reoxygenation was observed. [Results] HSP70 produced less expression in normal CMEC and its expression was increased significantly by hypoxia stimulating. Sal B preconditioning enhanced the expression of HSP70 mRNA and the effect was obviously superior to that of hypoxic preconditioning (HPC). During the delayed preconditioning protection, Sal B also could increase the HSP70 mRNA expression and enhance the effect of HPC. [Conclusion] Sal B preconditioning produces a protective effect on cells by inducing the expression of HSP70. |
