Abstract
[Objective] To research the sugar and lipid-decreasing effect of Folium Mori Polysaccharide (FMP). [Methods] The water soluble component of FMP was isolated and pured. Blood sugar-decreasing and lipid-inhibiting experiment were performed in rats with 2 type diabetes. [Result] FMP could decrease blood sugar and restrain the rising of blood lipid. [Conclusion] FMP has manifold accommodation action for treating 2 type diabetes.
