Abstract
    [Objective] To explore the technology in extraction of Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis. [Methods] Experiment was designed by orthogonal design, taking the content of Magnolol and honokiol and recovery rate of dry ointment as the observing indexes to investigate the extraction process. [Result] The optimal decocting condition was as follow：adding 8 fold amount of 70% alcohol and extracting twice for one hour each time. [Conclusion] The optimal technique used in our investigation can thoroughly extract the effective components from Cortex Magnoliae Officnalis.
