| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To explore the influence of "Eliminate Turbid Fluid and Remove Toxicicity" Method on islet β cells and insulin resistance. [Methods] On the basis of controlled blood sugar 30 cases of Diabetes Ⅱ with chronic hyperglycemia were treated with "Eliminate Turbid Fluid and Remove Toxic" Method and corresponding herbs for two months. The changes of insulin Ins and insulin sensitivity index ISI were compared before and after treatment and compared with that of patients with controlled blood sugar group alone. [Results] Fasting blood glucose FBG,fasting insulin FIns,glycosylated hemoglobin HBA were all decreased P<0.05,ISI was improved compared with that before treatment P<0.01,and the effect was obviously superior to the control group. [Conclusion] Glucose toxic effect will aggravate the secretion defect of islet β cells and insulin resistance in Diabetes Ⅱ,"Eliminate Turbid Fluid and Remove Toxic"method will be helpful to recover the secretion function of isletβcells and improve insulin resistance. |
