Abstract
|
[Objective] To compare the effect of Folium Nelumbinis total alkaloid and its salt on lowering blood lipid. [Methods] The alkaloid was extracted with alcohols, alkaloid salt was extracted with acid liquid purified by absorptive resin (medicinal materials:resin=1:2) and eluted with ethanol and water. After that the experiment of their lowering blood lipid was done in NIDDM rats respectively. Serum glycerin lipid and cholesterol are selected as the index, the difference between their effect on lowering blood lipid was compared and dealt with SPSS 8.0. [Results] The effect of alkaloid salt on lowering blood lipid was superior obviously to that of alkaloid. [Conclusion] Alkaloid salt possesses better effect on lowering blood lipid than alkaloid. |
