Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the therapeutic effects of acupuncture on cer vical vertigo(type of phlegm and turbid obstruction in the middle-jiao). [Methods] Sixty-five patients withestablished cervical vertigo were randomly divided into acupuncture group treated with "regulating spleen and stomach" and drug group treated with intravenous drip of betahistine hydrochloride injection and oral Xuanyunting. The main symptoms were assessed after treatment, and the average blood flow velocity of bilateral vertebral and vertebro-basilar arteries was obs erved by transcranial Doppler examination. [Results] Blood flow velocity of the both arteries increased significantly in these two groups (P<0.01) after treatment;there was significant differences between two groups in the total effective rate and indexes of Transcranial Doppler examination (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Acupuncture therapy of "regulating spleen and stomach" posses a better therap eutic effect on cervical vertigo. |
