| Abstract

| According to the summary and analysis of the documents described in the clinical and basic research on climacteric syndrome in recent 5 years,some existing problem and advice about this disease at present research have been put forward. They have been reviewed from pathogenic factors and pathogenesis,theory with sundeome differeniation,and the curent situation of the investigation etc. It has been indicated that TCM therapy has obvious effect on climacteric syndrome, however,astringent,scientific clinical investigation combined with modern research fruits,technology and measures should be developed. |
