Abstract
[Objective] To discuss the influence of cerebral infarction on heart and the intervention effect of acupuncture from angle of energy metabolism. [Methods] MCAO(unilateral middle cerebral artery obstruction)in rats was establis hed. Radioimmunoassay was applied to detect the content of ATP, ADP, AMP and to calculate energy charge in brain, heart and blood of rats and 4 phases. [Results] Compared with model group, ATP, ADP and energy charge in heart, brain and blood of rats in acupuncture group remarkably rose, while AMP obviously declined( P<0.05 or P<0.01), approaching to that of normal group. [Conclusion] Energy metabolism disturbance occurs not only in brain, but also in cardiac muscle after cerebral infarction. Acupuncture can obviously improve the energy metabolism disturbance in brain, heart and blood induced by cerebral infarction.
