Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the relationship between acupuncture analgesia and the concentration of free calcium inside and outside the neuron of central nervous system. [Methods] First, observe the influence of raising the concentration of free calcium outside the neuron in periaqueductal gray PAG on acupuncture effect by the change of rat’s pain threshold.Second, observe the influence of painful stress and acupuncture analgesia on the concentration of free calcium inside the neuron([Ca2+]i) of PAG in rat with experimental pain. [Results] The acupuncture effect that raising rat’s pain threshold was restrained by raising the concentration of free calcium outside the neuron in PAG.Affected by pain, the concentration of free calcium inside the neuron in PAG ascended. But it can be descended by acupuncture analgesia. [Conclusion] In central nervous system, the free calcium inside the neuron may be a material basis through which injury messages and acupuncture messages interact each other. |
